Here’s everything that you can get with your Vivint security system
Unlike most security companies, Vivint’s automation and security services are available to renters. Here are a few of the most popular devices and services:
Burglary prevention
Door alarms and window sensors can notify you when an unwanted intruder comes into your apartment or rental house. Receive a notification to your mobile device as an alarm trips, or arm and disarm your alarms and cameras remotely and let in guests or maintenance when you’re out.
Fire and safety detectors
Smoke detectors will come as part of your rental unit, but probably not other safety detectors. Install a wireless carbon monoxide detector or flood detector to alert you and the monitoring agents to catastrophes before it’s too late.
Indoor or doorbell cameras
HD security cameras can be wirelessly installed so you can keep an eye on indoor rooms. A doorbell camera gives you the option to see -- and talk to -- visitors at the front door. Get real-time HD feeds and texts about possible lurkers through the Vivint App.
Round-the-clock monitoring
A great benefit of going with Vivint is the monitoring team backing up your alarms. If a device trips, your monitoring experts immediately notifies you to make sure you’re in a safe location. Then they’ll turn around and call the fire or police departments.
Automation devices
Smart items, such as smart lighting, can be installed to make your apartment more energy-efficient. Some devices like a smart thermostat or smart locks may need prior office approval.
The Vivint App
Your Erie security system can be managed anywhere through the Vivint App. See real-time camera feeds, remotely turn on and off alarms and cameras, or program times for alarms and lights. Then get alerts to your phone if a device trips or a camera detects a suspected lurker.
